Sales Representative - Conventional Oil

We are seeking
an experienced Sales Representative on behalf of
our client, PCM Canada, a small-sized oil &
gas manufacturing and service business. The
successful candidate will have strong technical
knowledge in conventional oil and PCP
completions and have a well established network
within the Canadian O&G market.
Essential Job Functions
- Establishes a strong network with customers involved in conventional oil in Canada;
- Obtains key contacts in those companies to develop sales;
- Anticipates needs for parts and services with customers;
- Promotes PCM solutions;
- Sets and maintain accounts / sales information using the CRM system (Selligent);
- Handles daily sales activity;
- Prepares technical and commercial offers, organizes kick-off meeting and makes sure the offers meet the customer needs (as per technical specifications, commercial content, sales policy, warrantee conditions, payment terms, delivery conditions);
- Launch the POs and ensures the supply chain is in line as per specifications / planning / cost;
- Follows up sales to pump installation, then tracking pump operation and supporting after sales in conjunction with the COO and shop managers, resolves customer complains;
- Manages sales portfolio, tracks associated costs and sales, clearly reports on sales, profitability and monthly reports on activity;
- Sets a yearly budget and adjusts where applicable;
- Customizes sales and marketing tools as per the specific conventional oil needs;
- Actively participates in creating the price list as per Canadian market standard;
- Supports marketing development for department;
- Follows competition closely and anticipates changes required;
Educational requirements
- Petroleum Engineering Degree
Work experience
- 10 year experience in oil & gas field service, ideally in the PCP business;
- Ability to work independently;
Skill requirement
- Collaboration with operation team / field service / logistics / finance & accounting and innovation department;
- Strong experience in oil and gas, ideally artificial lift / PCP business;
- IT tools (Microsoft office);
- Sales experience and knowledge of QHSE policy and application;
- Understands and oversees business profitability;
- Clear understanding of technical drawings, documentation and instruction manuals;
- Excellent communication Skills: reporting, verbal and non-verbal communications;
- Decision Making: major decisions to be approved by the president, autonomous for daily operation decisions;
- Negotiation skills;
- Strong technical knowledge in conventional oil and PCP completions;
- Established network in Canadian oil and gas market;

- All internal departments;
- External suppliers, vendors, and clients;
Working conditions
- Frequent travel to field operations (AB and SK)
